Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Olipop Software and Design LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with Belita’s Bible Battle (the "Game") and this website. It covers the Game on both iOS and Android.
The Game is built on Google Firebase. Your account and game data live in our Firebase project and are processed by Google on our behalf.
Information We Collect
Account information
The Game has no password of its own. When you sign in, we receive your email address and a provider account identifier, which Firebase Authentication holds and uses to identify your account. See Signing In below for what each provider returns.
Game data
We store the data needed to run the Game and save your progress: your assigned in-game name; your halos, hearts and hints; which characters you have unlocked; your gameplay statistics and history; your leaderboard entries; and your Daily Reckoning entries and run records.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple on iOS and by Google Play Billing on Android. We never see or receive your payment card, bank details or billing address. We receive and store a record of the product purchased, the amount and the date, together with the store’s purchase token, which we use to verify the purchase and to prevent the same purchase being redeemed twice.
Device and usage data
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Game is played. It collects app usage events, an app-instance identifier, and general device and regional information such as device model, operating system version and country. We associate your account identifier with these analytics events.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes. When the Game crashes, it sends a crash report containing device state, operating system version and a stack trace.
Advertising
The Game offers optional rewarded video ads, served by Google AdMob. Watching one is always your choice; nothing in the Game requires it. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob processes your device’s advertising identifier and ad interaction data. You can reset or limit that identifier in your device settings — on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, and on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your installation a push token so we can send you messages such as reminders that your hearts have refilled. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the Game works without them.
How We Use Information
- To create and maintain your account and sign you in.
- To run the Game, save your progress, and operate leaderboards and the Daily Reckoning.
- To verify in-app purchases and grant what you bought.
- To serve rewarded ads when you choose to watch one, and to credit the reward.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and understand which parts of the Game are used.
- To send notifications you have opted into.
- To detect and prevent cheating, abuse and fraudulent purchases.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email address for marketing.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that make the Game work:
- Google (Firebase & AdMob) — authentication, database, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications and advertising.
- Apple and Google Play — app distribution and in-app purchase processing.
- Meta (Facebook) — only if you choose to sign in with Facebook.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or the safety of our players.
Your assigned in-game name, your rank and your score are visible to other players on leaderboards and in Daily Reckoning results. Your email address never appears there.
Signing In
The Game does not have its own password. You sign in with a provider, and each returns a limited set of information to us:
- Sign in with Apple (iOS) — your name and email address. If you choose Apple’s "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address.
- Google (iOS and Android) — your basic profile and email address.
- Facebook (iOS and Android) — your public profile (
public_profile) and email address (email). We do not request your friends, posts, photos or any other permission.
Your email address is held by Firebase Authentication and is used to identify your account. We do not use it for marketing.
Your name from the provider is not used as your in-game name. Every player is assigned a name from a fixed pool when the account is created, and that generated name is what appears on leaderboards.
Children’s Privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email info@olipopsoftware.com and we will delete the account and its data.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the Game. If you signed in with Facebook, you can also start a deletion from Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Either route runs the same deletion.
Deletion takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period, and you do not need to contact us first.
What is deleted: your sign-in account and the email address held by Firebase Authentication; your player profile, including your in-game name, halos, hearts, hints, unlocked characters and statistics; your full game history; every leaderboard entry; and your Daily Reckoning entries and run records.
What is retained, and why: two records outlive the account, and neither identifies you once the deletion has run.
- Past Daily Reckoning results. These are shared history that other players also appear in, so the placement itself is preserved. Your rank and damage remain; your name is replaced with "Deleted Player" and the account identifier is removed, leaving nothing that points back to you.
- Purchase records. We retain the product, amount and date of in-app purchases so that a purchase cannot be redeemed a second time. The account identifier on these records is replaced with a one-way cryptographic hash, so they can no longer be traced to you or to your account.
Full instructions, and a page for checking the status of a deletion request, are on our Data Deletion page.
Your Choices & Rights
- Delete everything — in-Game account deletion, described above, is available to everyone and runs immediately.
- Notifications — turn off in your device settings at any time.
- Advertising identifier — reset or limit it in your device settings.
- Access and correction — email info@olipopsoftware.com for a copy of your data or to have it corrected.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will honour any such request.
Data Retention
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the data listed above is removed immediately, with the two anonymised exceptions noted. Analytics and crash data are retained on Google’s standard schedules for those services.
Security
Your data is held in Google Firebase and protected by Firebase Security Rules and server-side Cloud Functions. Economy values such as halos, hearts and hints are validated on the server; the Game client cannot write them directly. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
International Transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers process and store data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. By using the Game you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the Game.
